Christmas Eve at UCU

UCU will offer two opportunities to gather on Christmas Eve.

Outside at 3:00 pm behind the church, we will have a mini live nativity: “A Cow, A Carol, and Cocoa”, lasting 30-45 minutes. While designed for the youngest among us, all are welcome to see a few animals and hear the familiar story of the very first Christmas. Masks are strongly encouraged, even in this outdoor venue.

At 7:00 pm, we will have a semi-traditional Christmas Eve worship service streamed online. Worship leaders will gather in the sanctuary, but all participants are asked to join via livestream as we take extra precautions due to the omicron variant. The same will be true for Sunday worship on Dec. 26. Please stay tuned for further updates.

A special offering at our evening Christmas Eve service will benefit, “Love Beyond Borders: An Interfaith Effort to End the Pandemic,” which focuses on vaccine distribution.

We look forward to celebrating this sacred holiday, even under extraordinary circumstances.
