Sunday morning helpers

There are a number of ways that you can help out during Sunday morning worship.

  • Indoor and outdoor greeters make sure that everyone receives a warm hello, helps newcomers find their way around, and provide an arm to lean on coming in from the parking lot, if needed.
  • Ushers help people to their seats and distribute bulletins and hymnals
  • Worship assistants read the call to worship, unison prayers, and a Bible passage
  • Children can participate as acolytes, bringing light into the sanctuary as the worship service begins
  • Children, families, or anyone else can ring the bell to indicate that worship is about to begin. It’s a great way to celebrate a birthday or other important family event – or just because it’s fun!
