The Missions Ministry
The Missions Ministry of the United Church of Underhill provides opportunities throughout the year to help our neighbors, both near and far.
Please check the Missions Ministry bulletin board in the Fellowship Room for many opportunities to help and serve our local area and worldwide. You will also find many thank you letters posted there, reflecting the fruits of all of our efforts.

2024 School Supply Drive
The PINS Backpack Drive will be from July 14 through August 4. PINS or “Partners in Service” is a program at the VT Department for Children and Families that links religious congregations with children in state custody. The Backpack Drive collects school supplies for children in foster care. Currently needed supplies include filler paper, ball point pens, scientific calculators, 3-ring binders (1 inch), rulers, erasers, book covers, spiral notebooks, pencil boxes and sleeves, clip boards and journals. Bring items you wish to donate to Sunday services or to the sanctuary at any time to drop them off. Thank you for your contributions.
Travis Canedy Camper Scholarship Fund
The United Church of Underhill supports children going to summer camp with the Travis Canedy Camper Scholarship Fund. We try to meet the needs of young persons who want to go to camp. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and are due every year by March 31. Please apply via this form.
Aid to Ukraine
Although there are many organizations providing support to the Ukrainian people, our UCU Missions Ministry selected UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee on Relief International Disaster Response and Recovery Fund) to receive the donations of people wishing to contribute. 100% of contributions to this fund go directly to relief efforts in Ukraine or to support people who are fleeing to neighboring countries.
There are several ways to donate:

Place a check or cash in the offering plate with the specification that it is for aid to Ukraine.
Mail a check to UCU, PO Box 265, Underhill, VT 05489. Please write “Ukraine” on memo line.
