Join Us This Sunday!
On Thursday evening (April 2), the United Church of Underhill will host a Maundy Thursday worship service with our siblings in Christ from Essex Center and Jericho United Methodist Churches.
At this service, we remember the last meal that Jesus shared with his followers. He washed feet, broke bread, shared the cup, and promised faithfulness in the face of danger.
This year, our worship will bring these timeless calls to love and serve into our current day. We’ll meditate in word and image upon places of danger in our own world, bidding that Christ’s faithfulness encourage and embolden us to respond.
The service will include an opportunity for washing (feet or hands) as well as the sacrament of communion. Come, just as you are. God will wait upon us, nourishing us for what is yet to come.

Sunday, April 5
This week, we stand with the crowds who long ago raised palms and voices in protest and plea: “Hosanna! Save us!” With the help of many voices, we’ll prayerfully retrace the steps of Jesus and his followers through Jerusalem that Holy Week, ending beneath the cross.
Lenten banks may be returned to the church today as we collect and bless the offering that will be sent on to Vermont Interfaith Action. You may also give using the link below.
There are many opportunities to gather for worship and prayer during Holy Week. Consider inviting a friend or neighbor to come along for the journey.
Join Sunday’s worship online or in the sanctuary at 10.
