It has been an exciting few months preparing for this coming Sunday’s anniversary worship service.
Located in Underhill, Vermont, some people think of us as the Harvest Market church or the Clutter Barn church. Join us for worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 am.
The Harvest Crossing team has been working tirelessly on the project to bring affordable homes and community space to the large field behind the church.
The United Church of Underhill is proud to participate in the Essex-Jericho-Underhill Ecumenical Ministries, which supports our local food shelf. Monetary donations to the EJU Food Shelf are now able to be made using UCU's secure online giving service.

There are many things happening in the life of the church as we conclude some fall activities and prepare for our anniversary on Nov. 5.
This month, I’ve been loosely tying our worship services and youth series to Rachel Held Evans’ Inspired, the book a small group of us are also discussing in Saturday morning book group.
As you may have seen in postcards arriving to your mailboxes last week, on Nov. 5, the United Church of Underhill will commemorate 50 years as a united church.

Pastor Jen is on vacation this week. Rev. Dr. Joel Hubbard (Essex Center UMC) is on call for pastoral emergencies. On Sunday, we welcome Rev. Kim Hornung-Marcy to lead worship as we celebrate World Communion Sunday.

It is a busy season for many of us.
This Friday at 11:00 am, the Harvest Crossing team will host a special kick-off event on the back field to celebrate the journey thus far, including the generosity and support that has allowed for the purchase of the land, which we closed on in July.
This is a big and busy week for the many who are heading back to school.
