Tonight is our final session of the “Future is Federated” series with the Williston and Morrisville churches. Even if you haven’t made it to a previous session, I strongly encourage you to attend this evening. Our own Peter Mitchell will share some of the history around UCU’s uniting, and we’ll hear parallel stories from the other participating churches as well as from a quad-federated church in Western Massachusetts (UCC, UMC, American Baptist, and Episcopal). If you’ve got 75 minutes to spare, it will be worth your while to hear and share about how blended congregations can be a blessed witness within and beyond the church universal.
I extend deep gratitude to Mark Demers, our worship leaders, tech team, and Christian Ed ministry for leading service in my absence last week. I am doing much better and appreciate the grace extended so I could get some much-needed rest at the end of last week. I look forward to seeing you online or in person this week as we recognize Scouting Sunday with members of Cub Scout Pack 620 and others. Scouts past and present, dust off your oaths and laws as we join in commitments to our highest callings.
I hope to see you soon,
