Holy Week is now just a few weeks away, but given the additional changes my family is expecting this Spring, this week, I’ve turned my attention to the season after Easter.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Pastor Jen is out of the office for much of this week, but she invites you to prepare for Sunday’s worship with the below poem from Steve Garnaas-Holmes.Â
Today is Ash Wednesday, an observance that may not have been part of our religious experiences as children, especially if we were not raised in the Catholic Church.
Next week begins the season of Lent.
The news out of the Middle East this week is of a tragic scope beyond comprehension.

It was wonderful to spend the morning with so many folks for our combined breakfast, worship, and Annual Meeting this past Sunday.
At the beginning of this year, both in worship and at Church Council, we shared a resource titled, “Spiritually Literate New Years Resolutions.â€
