Over the last week, I’ve attended two online trainings on the topic of community and congregational safety.

Last weekend, I was able to spend three whole nights with four dear friends.

On Sunday afternoon, the kids and I had wandered back over to the tents behind the church for some playtime when a pickup truck pulled up.

I want to extend another thank you to the many UCU friends who contributed to the very meaningful memorial service and reception for Violet Hobart last Wednesday.

Today, a mid-August pause.

This coming Sunday is our last service in the sanctuary and live-streamed before we move out to the tents for summer worship, which will be “offline.”

I am traveling to Annual Conference in Danvers, Massachusetts, today, returning this Saturday evening.

It’s that time of year: we’re marking endings and stepping into a summer pause from the regular routine.
